John 3:18
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned
already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:36
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not
the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
And now in conclusion a solemn word of warning. Upon that Cross is
your every sin; every thought, every evil word, every evil deed: all are there, and yours
is the overflowing abundance of His pardon. No matter how great the sin, no matter
how prolonged the wasted years; all is there on that Cross. (Rom 5:20) "Moreover the
law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more
abound:" O listen to the words of heavenly grace: (Isa 44:22)
"I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins:
return unto me; for I have redeemed thee." ( Ps 103:11-12)"For as the
heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As
far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us."
But if yours is the folly to spurn His mercy and His Love, there is one dark, damning sin that will spell your death-knell; it is the SIN of REJECTING YOUR SAVIOR.
